WA Notify

WA Notify is an application for Android that warns users about contacts with people who have the coronavirus.

How it works

This app focuses on people who live in Washington state in the USA. It is developed by the local Department of Health. 

You can find a lot of similar analogues in the store, such as COVID Alert NY and others. In the United States of America, local authorities of different regions are developing their own applications. 

In order to use WA Notify, you should give the utility access to the location of your mobile device. You also have to turn on Bluetooth. This will allow the app to trace your contacts and save information about them.

If a person who you have contacted appears to be sick according to the test results, you receive a notification about that fact.

You also have the opportunity to share your test results in order to warn other users. All information about your identity will remain completely anonymous.
