Microsoft Tunnel is a small utility for Android devices designed to work with another product, Microsoft Intune. This app allows mobile devices to access internal corporate networks on the go.
This tool lets the connection to the cloud to be secure and compliant with the policies of the company. Even if users are not physically located in the office, they still can work with the resources they need.
In order for this application to function, several conditions must be met. Firstly, your company needs to have an active Microsoft Intune subscription. Additionally, your work account should be set up with Azure Active Directory. It is free for the first year of use. Also, the device must be enrolled in the mobile device management service of Intune.
All the configuration and setup should be done by an IT administrator. The application itself has a minimalistic interface. Settings have just two options, both of them regarding logging and collecting data.
